The reason this website is created

is to teach people how to barter in a world where industrial era economics is about to collapse. While currency is an important part of this world, it is not as stable in a changing world. When a country goes off of the gold standard, it will economically collapse. The U.S. has been using fiat money for decades now.

This website will focus on training communities. There will be a place where people can let others know of barter events in their states. Anyone who wants to contribute information related to bartering, please feel free to do so. For the exchange, each ad will cost $5.00 USD and you can keep it up for 2 months or upon exchange, whichever happens first. There is a field for starting the publishing and for an ending date of publishing. You need to log in to post an ad.

Our country has seen the effects when paper currency is useless. After the Civil War a whole wheelbarrow full of confederate dollars couldn't buy a loaf of bread. Our generation has witnessed many notable societies that collapsed - like Russia. The society degenerated and emerging strongest people were the mafia members and those who had money and/or political status. There is also the threat of EMF attacks. These are magnetic field disruptions that are so strong they wipe out all electrical devices. Can you imagine what would happen if we had no electronics? How many people would be able to survive?

I also remember as a small girl asking my grandmother about the great depression. She told me that her family didn't even know there was a depression. It is because they lived on a farm and were pretty much self-sufficient.

If we can teach people the art of bartering, the art of farming/composting (even if it is a small patch in the yard), and locally use script instead of government money, the diversification will help mitigate devastating effects. I will post a link to an article on "Berkshire Dollars" which was a script program in Massachusetts. It has to be confined to each State because the Constitution gives the government the sole authority to "coin money." But this does not prohibit States from script. What the Berkshire Dollars did was to keep the economy local. People who used Berkshire Dollars traded among themselves and it helped foster community. There was even a mini-exchange that acted like a micro-loan place to help people to start local businesses.

As with everything these days, there needs to be a disclaimer. The Federal Government has rules on barter exchanges. It is your responsibility to make sure you know what these rules are. To the greatest extent possible, I will guard your personal information. This website only offers the forum to exchange. What you do is your own business and I will not keep tabs on who contacts who to do what. The caveat is that the goods and services need to be LEGAL. Sorry to be the downer, but no sex ads or drug ads. Keep it clean!
